How are you feeling?
I am a tiny bit drunk. In terms of the Communications Officer race I think I have a good chance. But I do think Kayt [Berry] is a force to be reckoned with.

What do you think about running against candidates who have Media Group experience?
It was to my advantage. I feel it helped me differentiate myself from the other candidates. I managed to dominate the agenda. I also set the tone of the campaign: RAG, campaigning, not whether I am competent to oversee the media group or not.

Predictions for the other races

General Secretary – Zoe Sullivan
I just had dinner with Zoe and I think she’s in with a good chance. I’m really not religious but am praying for her to win.

Treasurer – Libby Meyer
I’m good friends with both Jeff [Courtney] and Libby but Libby put in a better street campaign so she should win.

Ed Welfare – Not sure
I started off thinking James [Ketteringham] wouldn’t be up to the job but I have changed my opinion now. Do think he faces an uphill battle but sincerely hope he does win.

Anything else?
It’ s very hot in here and am quite nervous.
